Blå Band was founded in Landskrona back in 1951—with a simple idea: to be a helping hand in everyday life. The goal was to make cooking a little easier and safer for more Swedish households.
The brand emerged from a clear need—a need for food that was easy to prepare, simple to enjoy, and reliable in any situation. It quickly became a natural part of Swedish kitchens, thanks to soups and sauces that delivered exactly what they promised—without any fuss.
In the 1980s, Blå Band took another step forward with the launch of Varma Koppen. This solution made it possible to enjoy a hot meal—quickly and easily. It became an integral part of both daily life and the workplace, and a symbol of what the brand stood for: something you can rely on when time is short.
Since then, Blå Band has continued to evolve alongside people’s needs. The product range has expanded to include more categories and solutions—always with the same focus on accessibility, familiarity, and flavors that feel like home.
