Yes, they are. Additives are used in the products where the production process requires it to produce a good and high quality product.
Is the aim to reduce the amount of salt in the Blue Ribbon Outdoor Meal?
Yes, development work to reduce the amount of salt has already started.
Is palm oil used in Blue Ribbon Outdoor Meal?
Yes, we do. We use palm oil in some products, but there are also palm oil-free products in the range. Palm oil is used, for example, in dry products to ensure that the mixture in the bag is homogeneous. The advantage of palm oil is its neutral taste, which means that the original flavor is not altered. The palm oil we use is certified, but despite this we are constantly developing our products with the aim of having a completely palm oil-free assortment. Product development takes time, but we are proud that part of our assortment is already palm oil free.
Does Blue Ribbon Outdoor Meal have outdoor food for vegetarians or vegans?
Yes, we do. Our assortment includes both vegetarian and vegan options.
How do I get rid of the packaging?
The packaging is sorted as plastic waste.
What makes outdoor food outdoor food?
Steep climbs on windy mountains and hillsides, long walks in valleys and lowlands, hikes in winter snow, boating, canoeing, bike rides, relaxed picnics in atmospheric wilderness. There are different types of excursions and trips - and so is the food on the trip. Good outdoor food is nutritious, compact, easy to carry, easy to prepare or eat as is, and suitable for many purposes and trips.
